A Bug in Nike+ GPS 3.2

As said previously, I have to uninstall and reinstall the application in order to let it start. I did so and it starts now. What's better than before is now we have all history data synchronized from the Nike website so we don't start from zero this time.

But there is still something wired for example the pace shown in the Summary page, it's clearly incorrect : 4'08'' / Km. As shown also in the same page, I run 5.21 Km in 35 minutes.  And the data was correct in my previous screen shot, but not now:

Also the map showing the pace, it's not correctly built.

Run No. 62 Sophia-Antipolis

It has been quite busy recently, everyone comes back from vacations so we have lot of work to do. Also I'm busy with my drive license and cars and so on. So it has been two weeks since my last run.

It's already much cooler than two weeks ago, I enjoyed a lot.

Here is the result:

Oh yes, Nike+ GPS just released another update, version 3.2, with some enhancement in the functionality. However, I still got a problem that the application simply does not lance... :(
I think I have to uninstall it then re-install it.

Run No. 61 Sophia-Antipolis

This Wednesday is really quiet, I met one or two runners on my way.  There is almost nobody working during the summer vacations, so almost nobody running :D

I finished the usual trace without difficulty, alone.

Run No. 60 Sophia-Antipolis

60th Run!

Wednesday, not so hot, finished the usual circle in 34 minutes, just a normal pace. However, the Nike+ GPS stopped to register at 4.5 kilo :(

Here is the result, should be 5.4kilo as always:

Run No. 59 Cap d'Antibes

07/08/2011.

It was another hot Sunday, the sun was still very strong when I went out late afternoon. I started at a low pace and thought I will finish the Cap d'Antibes easily. However, it became very hard after 6kilo, I tried hard to continue and at 10kilo I had to stop as I felt very bad. After walking for a while, my arms and legs started to tremble, I tried to walk and after about 40 minute, I finally arrived home. I quickly drank some salty water and eat some salty cheese, bread, chocolate, whatever I could find in my refrigerator, then I started to recover little by little. After about an hour, I was finally able to take a shower that made me feel much better. :D

I finally recovered the next morning. Important lesson, take a bottle of water, a little bit salty is better, next 10 kilo run.

Here is the result:

Run No. 58 Sophia-Antipolis

The weather is a bit strange recently, it rains more than usual. The tourists must be very sad about this. It rained quite heavily this morning, but as it lasted only for about a half hour, it does not disturbed my run. The road condition is just excellent, the only thing made the run more difficult is that it's quite humid after the rain, it seems that the sun just turned all the rain water into vapor into the air.

Here is the result:

Run No. 57 Sophia-Antipolis

This is a late post for the last Wednesday's run. 27/07/2011

It was a rainy Wednesday, it rained really heavily in the morning. I thought I wouldn't be able to run at noon. However, the rain just stopped before noon as a miracle. I won't miss the least chance so went out very quickly.

The air was very very fresh right after the rain, the road was rather clean it seemed that the soil had become so dry to absorb all the rain water, leaving only several small muddy pools for me to traverse, not a problem at all.

Here is the result:

Again, I post this run quite late, one week after the run. It's because I was quite busy last week, I remember it only before I'm going for the next run tomorrow. :D
